Mr.K 2005 Duramax build

2005 Chevy 2500 crew cab shortbed ,long travel build
Duramax diesel

Truck build overview: The main goal is to provide a cleanly styled, aggresive, but street legal, long travel vehicle. This requires the fabrication of several custom suspension components, as well as using readily available after market parts, to keep the scope of the vehicle build in control, as well as, maintaining a somewhat customer serviceable vehicle. This truck will be fully (race legal) caged using 2''x .120 wall cromoly tubing, with appropriate gussets and tabs in place. Heated and adjustable race seats will be used and attached to cage. They will also have appropriately placed harnesses. Cage will be majority TIG welded with all weld standards adhered to. The vehicle cage will extend into the engine compartment, and tie in to existing frame. The rear "back half" portion of the cage (factory frame will be removed aft of the vehicle cab) will integrate safety lighting as well as auxilliary lighting. It will also have locations for offroad equipment including 2 spare tires, spare axles, race jack, 35+ gallon diesel fuel cell, TBD cargo box, radiator mount, mounts for fiberglass body, air tank etc... This truck will have a custom cockpit dashboard with custom race appropriate gauges and navigation equipment. Finally, in the front, we will be fitting and installing a custom one piece hood with factory style headlights. In the rear, custom fiberglass bedsides will be attached to custom supports built off the cage. Additionally, factory styled tailights will be utilized. We will work with a vehicle wrap company to design an aggressive, one of a kind, full wrap for the vehicle, using a pearlescent and black color scheme.

Meme aside, good to see you posting again, and that looks like it's going to be a killer build.
