Default QTP Exhasut Cutout
So I have been waiting for about a week and a half for the dealership to get me the rest of the keys and such for the Raptor. I was also hoping that the remote control for the cutout would be in the package also.

Turns out it is! Picking up the keys and cutout FOB tonight! Can't wait to hear how it sounds!

We've done them pre resonator and it actually sounds pretty good.

It doesn’t appear to work at the moment. I will check and make sure the motor still works. The butterfly may be stuck though. Too cold out currently to stay out there looking at it long.

So some pb blaster took care of the rust. The cutout is now open and it sounds like a beast!

Now it won’t close. Lol. I don’t mind it open, but the neighborhood probably won’t enjoy it so much at 5:30 every morning and I would like to be able to tone it down when the kids are in the truck. Time to check the set screws.

There must be a bunch of build up inside the cutout and pipe. I was able to get it to close again. Wait till tomorrow to open and close it a few more times. Probably should just order a cap and take it off for the winter and get it all cleaned up.

Upgrade to a Doug's cut out. They are all SS and much higher quality.

Same issues with mine. Took it off. Quit working completely eventually.

Is there a standard size bolt they use to mount the cutout? I ordered the plate and gasket today. I'll be removing and putting the plate on it till I decide which route to go.
