Alpine X009-FD2 anyone?

Anyone buy this Alpine X009-FD2 unit and used it on their 2013-2014
801A Package yet?

I "HAD" the 801A package. Mine is a 2011 though. I don't know how much difference there is. I LOVE the new 9 inch. It did take a lot of work to get everything to look/work right. I had to do a lot of cutting. I will do a little write-up on it when I get a chance. The bottom pic was my first attempt by adding the Alpine processor to try and help out the stock system, but I still wanted more!!

Ok riddle me this. Why is it the 801a package Not Compatible? Why wont it work?
