SHORT NOTICE: Arkansas weekend run. 3/14-3/15

If anyone is interested there will be a weekend run in the Hot Springs Arkansas area starting on 3-14. Making a mostly offroad venture from Hot Springs to Russellville and then north coverage area depending on time.


Required:
VHF Radio Standard Freq's (151.82, 151.88, 151.94)
Spare Tire or Tire repair Kit
Recover Rope and Shackles
5 Gallons of extra fuel
Trail Food (Lunch and Snacks)
Spare Air Filter (You'll thank me later)



Plan:
3/13 Friday
Arrive evening
Hot Springs Village Inn
Hot Springs Village, Arkansas



3/14 Saturday
8am Leave Hot Springs
Russelville La Quinta
(479) 967-2299

3/15 Sunday
8am Leave Russellville
Run the northern Loop
Head Home.

I am watching this thread. We need more than just the two of us. I might not be checking into the hotel on Friday. My son works till 11pm on Friday. So we might start driving down there at 3am on Saturday. Don't want to do that so trying to see if he can get someone to work for him. But I will be there.

I am surprised that there isn't more folks from the Dallas area interested in this, they are closer to Hot Springs than I am.

This is a fun run.

And if you have a reusable oiled filter, take it out before the run, put in a paper filter for the run, and reinstall the oiled filter for your trip home. For everyone else, just bring a spare filter for your drive home.
