Pre-09 Mirrors Look Same As Ours?

I'm wanting to install some stock power folding mirrors... After doing some research, the pre-09 mirrors will definitely bolt up and plug up to our trucks. You will need to re-arrange some pins on the mirror side to operate everything though, but they are 1/2 the price of the 09-up mirrors.

They look similar to our mirrors, but I just can't tell if they're physically the same? Anyone know? I'm hoping so and I can use the whole shell from my stock mirror and internals of the new one.
