So I need some bumper advice. I want the strongest, heaviest bumper I can get for the front and back end of my 13 Raptor. I thought I could a ranch hand full replacement, but found out I cant. Looks are important, but more important is crash/safety prevention as I carry my 3 girls and wife in this truck and travel a lot across Texas. We were going to get a Suburban and do the front end replacements, but they make everything so cheap and flimsy these days you cant even put a bumper replacement ranch hand on a Tahoe, or Suburban anymore. I had one back in the late 90's. So I want the next best thing. Any ideas? Was looking at Road Armor or ADD, but just do not know how to compare. The ranch hand replacement was like a battering ram. I want to do front and back. Don't care about weight. The heavier the better to me. Any and all feedback is welcome. Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. How much do these bumpers weigh? Looks like maybe 300 pounds. Correct? If I am wrong let me know. I want something with some weight to it. The ranch hand bumper replacements seem heavier. Or can someone tell me what they weigh vs the ADD or Fab fours. Fab Fours weighs 270 pounds. Appreciate the help.

fab fours weighs 185. Road armor 250. Cannot find ranch hand info.

Road Armor 270 with pre-runner bar. Anyone know of anything heavier?

I'd be willing to bet the Fab Fours is well over 185. When we took it off the front of the truck, lowering it to the ground was a struggle. Not to mention the suspension came up about an inch without the bumper

Our Rancher is 190 lbs. The heaviest bumper you can find doesnt mean it is the strongest or that it will keep you safe. We can weld a bunch of extra weight onto it, could even make it 400 lbs, and it wouldnt necessarily make it any safer. Safety all comes down to tube placement, the quality of the welds, and overall craftsmanship.

This bumper may weigh 500 lbs but Id put money on it failing before a lighter well built bumper would:

Was just about to say what add posted. It all comes down to research and development. Which they have done to give great looking bumpers that are durable. There's a reason why tornado hunters have add equipment on their trucks.

Thanks for all the feedback. Ended up going with the road armor front and back bumper replacement. Quite good reviews and the heaviest with good tube placement. Weighs 280 the front bumper. Ran over a small tree with it yesterday. Pretty cool.
