I'm wanting to paint my flares and bumpers Black.

I was quoted $915 to have both bumpers and fender flares painted black. They told me that the fenders would be a gloss black though and I'm not to excited about that. Can I Line-X them? Would that stick or peel in time off the fenders?

Bumper being gloss black I'd be ok with.

I was also thinking if I should go bumpers and flares Molten Orange.

Any pics or PS help would be appreciated.

Thoughts?

IMO gloss black bumpers or flares on Molten Orange would look bad and would clash. If anything there have been several members who have opted for Line-x flares and bumpers and that would look great as a matte or satin finish. Line-x would be more durable than paint

You had your Feders and Bumpers Line-X'd?

Would you be able to send some pics of them?

No peeling or anything?

Just finished line-x on the rear bumper... Will do the front this spring to match.I wish I would have had the front done as bare metal and line-x added when I received it... I like it better than power coat. Stronger and looks better. Since I drive in winter and salt its should last much longer. The power coating on the front has chips and small rust spots...IMG_1181.jpg

I like that look alot! Considering my Wicked Bolt-On Bumper is Line-X'd as well I think that would be a good fit and blend well.

If you do it post pics! I was thinking the bumper would just be to much line-X'd, but when I was on the 3rd try for powder coat on the bumper it was going to line-x next. I would like to see what it looks like.
