Has anyone found a phone mount that will work in the dezert with the heavier phones like the iPhone 6 plus?
I want to be able to record video's off my phone without the phone bouncing like crazy

I've tried the Go Pro mounts and they aren't stable with the larger/heavier phones

You could still use the mob armor phone mount and place it horizontally. The magnet is held in place by some strong ass 3M adhesive. Hit up @HAYNES OFFROAD and he'll take care of you.

I use one of these X-grips from RAM mounts with a suction cup mount.

I mount it anywhere on my windshield and it'll even suction to the passenger side dash panel just below the air bag.
I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 which is very large and holds it np.

Works extremely well.

I also use the Ram mount with the Xgrip. I have really liked that setup.

My only issue is that the phone gets hot and shuts off.
