Seriously, I could see how that would help. Now that my truck is a few years old the fan doesn't blow like it did. I could see the beads letting the air sneak through a lot better.

When the passenger side is on I can hear the air blowing fairly loud.
For what it's worth they seem to work better than the ones I had in my X7.

As much as this opens up to ridicule… one of the best things I did when I was a Motors Deputy was put one of those on my BMW unit. 100 degrees, 90% humidity, a motorcycle, and Kevlar covered in polyester sucks balls and and makes them swampier still!!!

As a side note, when I now park the truck for my retirement gig, I hit max AC before turning truck off and use Fordpass to preset a start before I head home for the day. Makes all the difference. Although I tinted everything less windshield with heat rejection film, I sorely regret not doing the windshield at the same time. My retirement gig has no shade.
