What a joke! I can only describe it as Milli Vanilli lip-syncing. It appears to me that Ford knows what an uproar is going on in the truck community about the replacement V8 with the TTV6. So to try and create a lie by piping in exhaust sounds. Almost like they are trying to rip you off. I am a hater on the new Eco-boost. They sound like shit! With the 6.2l the rumbling sound and feel of the truck are infinitely connected. It's what creates the happiness in owning a Raptor (or any big 8 Ford) Now that connection is gone! Are people pissed? Damm rights! They must really think lowly of your intelligence to think that doing this is ok. I'm not so sold on the "you can thank the EPA " crap either. I'd like to believe that if they put in as much research and development into the 6.2l they could make it just as efficient as any eco-crap. After all, the gas milage is not that much better than any of the existing V8's . Sorry fellas, but Ford has dropped the ball on this one. I would rather spend 50k on a new 5.0 FX4 and put 20k into engine and suspension mods than own a new Raptor Just saying! Pretty sure that there are thousands of other hardcore Raptor dudes that feel the same Of course, When the new Raptor is finally out and it sounds like the meanest friggin truck on the planet! Disregard this post! but I doubt it! Cheers!
