Traverse City Area Off Roading

Hello,

I am looking to do some off roading near Traverse City next week. What are the best trails to check out in the area? I have found the following so far....

LP510/Shore to Shore Trail - Starting around Beitner Rd and Hoosier Valley Rd, then running through Mayfield and onto the Mayfield seasonal road.

Supply Road and Fife Lake Road - general trails around this area. There are tons, how do you find the good ones?

Traverse City ORV Route - (pdf attached) This looks like the best route, there are a ton of DNR offshoots, what is the best way to stay navigated on the main trail?

Are there other trails worth considering?

Haven't had my truck up there yet, so haven't explored.
I know the tunnel of trees to the Legs Inn at Cross Village is scenic
Not off road or trails, but cool drive.

Thanks, have done that many times in a convertible. A great drive to make in the summer when you are looking for pavement.
