Now that my truck is finally paid off, I figured I would start adding a few things.
-2010 Blue Flame 6.2L fully loaded (minus graphics) ordered around April an took ownership in June 2010.
Current Mods:
-Side mirror reflector deletes
-Rigid dual 4" amber & Dual 4" white flood (uninstalled)
-SDHQ Tail gate guard
-Bike rack bar
-Spray in bed liner
-28% tint
Future Mods:
-ADD Venom FT Bumper (ordering soon)
-Outlaw Raptor Alpha 1 Bump stop kit
-auto folding mirrors
-Blue accented steering wheel
-Deep Transmission pan
- JDM Drive Shaft
-Under rear seat lock box (w/sub)
-5-Star tune
-DZ Tailgate assist
(First day home pictures)
The best $36 I spent.
These things are super easy to install and really make a huge difference, cosmetically speaking. You just use a small screw driver to pry out the reflectors ( outer curved part further from the truck) and snap the delete parts into place. There is a right and left side but it easy to tell a part, one side mirror has two holes on one edge while the other has only one hole. Just match the delete plate with the matching amount of tabs.
Recovery Gear:
Now days my truck spends most of its time cruising around Dallas with the occasional Cub/Boys Scout camping trip. So I'm going to pass on the winch but I still feel like I need some form of recovery gear just in case I get into a jam. I picked up a set of Sand Ladders from the local 4WD shop yesterday. I'm also going to pick up a Hi Lift winch gear and tow rope that basically turns the Hi Lift jack into a Come-A-Long.
Picked of a Rotopax gas can the other day. These cans are very compact and easy to store! I was able to tuck it into my bed extender while being folded up. Then I secured it with a couple bunggie cords. Their only 2gls which I plenty to what I need but you can buy extras and stak them together.
