I don't understand the obsession with quick release. It takes a Torx and a quality cordless drill or a impact and all of 1 min to remove and reinstall them. I would think that in the long run removing and reinstalling the bed bolts with a bit of anti-seize would be better than leaving a quick release setup in.

Removing the 4 bolts and reinstalling them is pretty quick.

Agree... and provides for a tight joint. Quick releases have play in them. And now you have something left in your bed...

I see your point...but we do get some weather down hear in the winter, and The last thing I need is a striped bed bolt. I don't want to worry about the nut coming lose under the bed and the bolt just spinning.

I want to screw(pardon the pun) the bed bolts as little as possible...
