Plasti Dip Was My Friend Too

After someone commented on the lame paint within the rear wheel well, it was then that I noticed its very unfinished look. In fact, it was all I could see when I looked at my Raptor from the side.

I had read of someone here using Plasti Dip to remedy some unfinished-looking areas. I thought, "Why not give it a try?"

Though this pic was taken to show the tips of my newly installed Borla exhaust tips, the change in appearance is obvious:

The thing is though, rocks are going to rip your plasti dip to shreds. You need something more rubber based.

Yeah wht is right. I used some rattle can Rustolium engine enamel in mine and its torn up something awful now. Almost wish I'd have left it alone.

One of these days I'll get 'er in to a LineX shop and do it right, but for now it kinda sucks . I hope the PlastiDip holds up better for ya.
