Stoked to be here! I went through 5 mustangs ( 01 GT, 03 GT, 05 GT, 11 5.0 AND 12 5.0) before deciding they were getting me into too much trouble LOL and I needed a truck to have room for my new rescue dog (110lb German shepherd) and needed high ground clearance and 4x4. Every winter I snowboard as much as possible and routinely go through some pretty adverse road conditions to get to the best conditions on the mountain. In the summers I've been getting more into off roading with friends and camping and shooting.
I got a 2017 4x4 f150 2.7L after the mustangs which was a surprisingly capable, powerful, quick truck. Eventually though I needed something even more capable off road because my poor stock 4x4 was getting trashed with the increasingly difficult trails I was putting her through, although she made it through them!
Got the 2013 raptor last month and I've been loving it! Such a beast on and off the road. Only hiccup so far was promptly blowing out my power steering pump ripping donuts in the dirt my first weekend with it.
Let me know if anyone in Socal area wants to hit some trails, or if anyone is selling lights or add bumpers for cheap
