you will be very happy with JL, i have 2 10's that were in an old truck i might be throwing in my Raptor. when i got them and had my car audio guy tweek everything for me he was pissed..... my 2 JL 10"***** harder than his 2 Infinity 12"s! JL is awesome! might cost more, but the quality is outstanding!

What amp are you going with? I was debating about getting either the 13.5 or the 10W3 myself. Had the 10W2v4 in my 2010 I traded in that sounded good with the MB Quartz Onyx 1000.1d.

JL Audio 10w1 with xd300 amp in a super crew custom box is the best you can get in that price range. Sounds great and hits hard for a single 10.

An Alpine MRX-M50. It's rated at 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms and 300w at 4 ohms. It's also class D technology which I like and it gets great reviews on Crutchfield and Amazon. My installer said it should work as well as any amp he carries in this price range.

You'll be happy!

I have the previous model Alpine MRD-M605 installed in my Cobra, rated at 600W RMS. I was surprised to see that it came with a Apline "certified" paper stating that mine actually put out 630W RMS.

Powerful, dependable amp line! I have it pushing a JL 10W6v2-D4, years of enjoyable bass for me.
