LED cargo/bed lights

With a bed cover, the factory cargo lights didn't light the bed. I added LED strips all the way around the under side of the top of the bed.

Really easy mod and cheap. All the LED strips were less then $25 on ebay. They are supposed to just stick on. Did not stick to the bed liner so I added a little glue.

How did you handle the wiring?

I connected these to the LED marker lights right below the taillights. The other option was to connect to the cargo light, but running the wires to there would have been a lot harder.

There are holes in the top of the bed just waiting to be used. Wires go through the holes and get connected to the marker light with T-Taps so the wires don't have to be cut/soldered.

These lights do turn on with the headlights, so my bed lights are on when driving at night. The bed cover contains all the light, so it does not matter.

To use the lights, just turn the parking lights on.
