Should be, at least it was on the Lightnings.
Are you topping off or filling for the first time? I you are topping off you need to figure out where it is going. Lightnings had some issues with leaking cores for a few years.
If you are filling up and your truck won't see freezing weather there are some better options in terms of cooling efficiency.
NM on the last part just read your screen name!
The bittering agent was put there so pets do not lick it up off the floor/ground.
In the past pets were dying because of leaking antifreeze.
Ethylene glycol Kills.
Mostly the difference in antifreeze is - whether or not the corporation has paid for "Approved For"
thus, rendering different dyes.
Tap water has minerals. Minerals cause electrolysis aka corrosion.
Like MTF said, 50/50 with 'water wetter'.
Do you have a checkable reservoir?
Some of the old systems were closed.
I wasn't going to say that.
Roush puts together good kits.
The Stage 2 kit would be worth the 15K with full Stage 2 limited warranty, 590 fwhp is not bad.
And with the right Tune you might get a few more hp out of it.
But dealers are charging 15K for the stage 1 525 fwhp and no extra warranty other than what Roush gives included for free, well included in the purchase..
Dealers make it sound like they did the warranty.
