Outlaws mounts you have to cut but they do sit lower.

Eh, the cutting isn't noticeably, it's not that hard to do. Not too sure how you could do it without cutting the plastic cowl and having a nice mount.

I do worse things to my truck off-road...lol

I think what people are saying is that the no cut mounts don't sit down quite as low as the ones where you have to do a little bit of trimming.

Our mounts are a NO CUT design and sit no higher than the hood as seen in the pictures.

Anyone have comparison pics between the "cut" and "no-cut" type light cannon mounts? I'd like to see the diff.

4TT No Cut Hood Mount

Dale, here's the 4TT mount at hood level. Only the mounting platform rises up above the hood, maybe 1/8". Oriented the lights base this way and have 1/4" to spare between the bottom of the cannon and the hood when it's raised. I'm having to assume that the white box version has the same kind of light base as the VX.
