Deleting Exhaust Tips?

Anybody cut off the ginormous tips and have the exhaust dump just before the rear bumper? I think it would clean the look of the truck up.

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

today... extended rear brake lines, and flushed all the brake fluid with Motul RBF600 .. Im not super happy with this, as it looks like it they might touch the driveshaft under compression.. i dont really have a way to bump it out, so i guess i'll keep eyes on it.. steel braided with kevlar...

I think I will see whith my master welder inox budy to make something like the KHC but keeping spare tire !

i think on my gen3 i can just cut at an angle and de-burr the pipe n be good. Ill see I guess.

I'm interested in this also. The OEM exhaust is massive and way too visible from the side as well.

I took the muffler off, cut the pipes off close to the muffler, flipped them 180 and welded back on. I think we had to do something with the hanger too because one was attached to the pipe.. I left them kinda long and then marked them at ride height and cut them off about an inch below the axle

the hanger is broken in the pic so I'm gonna have to figure something else out. The exhaust shop fixed it twice but it needs something thicker than they have.. also seen these broken on supercabs with full exhaust so seems to be common

I’d want to do a side exit on both sides behind the rear tires but I’m worried they’ll just end up effing it up so I’ll probably not do anything.

I have heard of melting wires in the rear bumper area with a rear dump at the bumper. And that is with the KHC exhaust.

The stock exhaust looks boss…..I wouldn’t mess with it. YMMV

I’m 50/50 with the way it looks but my bigger concern would be messing with the exhaust note. I think Ford nailed it with this exhaust especially for a 6 cylinder.
