OK...now how long do I have to wait??? Also, has anyone else been offered some kind of additional "clear coat"? Does it work? Worth it?

Depends on the price...

Opticoat I think is the name they use...it is like an extra layer of clearcoat on the exterior and there is a product for the interior as well.

I had Opticoat applied and love it. It's like a permanent wax. Quick wash and detail spray, and it looks machine waxed. Also very easy to keep clean.

Look for a high end car detailer in your area to apply it.

I also had Xpel film (clear bra) on the leading edges & it really saves from paint chips.
