They will budge and come down..

I talked to these idiots today at Al Packer. The truck is available and I told them I'd never pay $7500 over so they replied, "how much would you pay?" Told me they were offered $3500 over and that that's the lowest they'd accept.. unreal.

I went there is July when the order banks opened. They wanted 10k over MSRP and a $5000 deposit. They weren't even nice about the huge mark up; but condeschending "A" holes. I said "No thanks" and found another smaller local dealer who was willing to do MSRP.

I talked to a guy Ray there today and he said the lowest they would go is $5,000. I told him mine is coming for MSRP. He said I doubt it... LOL. They got 17 allocations!!!

That's the exact one I saw last week. Salesman told me he had 4 people fighting over it and that if I got there first, it was mine. LOL, guess no one was fighting for it after all.

Beautiful truck, but not worth $7500 over. When most of their 17 allocations are still sitting on the lot when the 18's roll out we'll see how much over MSRP they want. I get that the Raptor is a "limited production" vehicle, but let's be realistic with these prices.

I will take my truck(when it comes in) that I am getting at MSRP to my closest dealer that wanted 15K over and get them to check the pressure in the tires. Out of spite.

I'm doing the same thing, especially with the crazy California markup. The question now is, when?
