Do you have Nittos? I hear they're notorious for being hard to balance. I've had great experience with Toyo OC 35X12.5.

Ok, which tires do you recommend? 35x12.5" tires

Toyo Open Country M/T and Nitto Trail Grappler M/T. The Toyos are better and I have personally owned both.

Depends which Nitto. My Trail Grapplers balance well for an M/T. Mud Grapplers are a whole other story though haha

It is hard to beat 17's for serious offroad use and 17's have many tire options for offroad. Much fewer offroad tire options with 18's.

That is my whole point, you have named one manufacturer. If you compare 17" vs 18" tires you will find many more offroad tire options by more manufacturers in 17".

All the "good" tires that you'd want on your rig are readily available in both 17s and 18s. But at the end of the day it's your decision.

Are you ever gonna go offroad? If so you can do an all terrain or mud terrain. If it's gonna be a street truck than I would stick with all terrains for they're comfort, but you can go with a mud terrain just for the look if you want.

Also what tires are you running? Post up a pic for us to see.

I havent check any tire on 18" rims without a soft side wall.
Pro comp xtreme a/t
General tires grabbers
Toyos open country
Bfg doest make bajas a/t for 18" rims

I had to sacrifice comfort agains looks with the 18" rims, good for onroad but, not great offroad
