Tried out Theodore Robins Ford in Costa Mesa, CA today for a simple service and staff and facility are great.
Much better than some other dealers I've been to in the area.
It looks like they are very mod friendly by the look of the Raptors that were in the service area.
This should be correct, a more supple ride in the normal driving range and stiffer as the suspension compresses.
Progressive is a ramp effect and the OEM is more linear.
I have not. I will be testing the OEM springs when I take them off. Supercup found some numbers of the OEM springs online somewhere,
This is what he found,
1st inch, 640
2nd inch, 1280
3rd inch, 1920
Supercup and I had this discussion last night.
He tested his (I think he only tested one spring) and here is his numbers,
1st inch, 490lbs
2nd inch, 900lbs
3rd inch, 1520lbs
I put both of my springs in the spring rate gage here at our shop and this is what I came up with (I tested both...
I'll look it up again for you, I didn't realize I posted the same link for both.
Ive had these bolts and washers on my truck for a year now and they still look great.
