Rich IS crazy. Really that simple. I don't think the suspension set up mattered. Rich was going to jump that road even if he was driving the Griswold's Wagon Queen Family Truckster.

It really doesn't look that impressive on the cab video, which is a shame. I wish someone had been there to take a picture/video from the road.

I did the same as Yukon every time - rolled right over it nice and slow. Not up to Madcow standards.

Third, landing big jumps is sooooo much nicer.

So, to answer your question; would I have jumped the road last year?

Probably. Cuz I'm a crazy motherf*cker!:rocking:

Damn pot! And you called me a crazy bastard after Lil Sahara haha. Now what color is that kettle?

Now I'm pissed I didn't jump the road...in Corey's truck!

Now that crazy Rich has shown us it can be done, we will be doing that one up next year for sure. Need a GoPro outside to capture it. Actually has a great downramp if you pin it and don't overshoot. Don't tell Rnecks with Pchecks haha

I don't know . . . 30 mph? Just watched the video again. He rolled thru the last dip before the berm, accelerated fairly hard, let off the gas a little as we made final approach and then gently accelerated up the side.

Eric: "Ohhh...we actually cleared that."

Rich: (sounding crazy) "Ha ha ha ha ha"

Overshooting that landing would suck. And I think undershooting it just a hair so that your front tires cleared but your drooping rear suspension caught the backside of the berm would also suck.

Rich is the man.

It will go down as quite possibly the best thing to ever happen at TRR, until that is somebody hits that f*%king buffalo on the course.

I wished I could have been in the truck, that takeoff and landing look so smooth I had to watch it several times to make sure it actually happened

first time I had the volume off and thought, holy hell, he cleared the road. then I couldn't believe it, went back and confirmed what I had seen.

I agree with the other posts, too early on landing and he would've donkey kicked that truck to hell, too long and he would've been searching for his bumper in the dirt.

Don't go wobbly on us. You are a hero.

That said, I don't think I would try that in my SCrew. That is a Scab jump for sure.

Looking forward to watching you do it again next year while I video from the berm!
