Has anybody else had issues with backfiring immediately after a full fuel refill? On my last 5 to 10 refills, my truck will occasionally backfire for the first ten miles or so when I let off the gas and coast, or come to a stop. After approximately ten miles, I never have the issue. Thoughts? I am running MPTs 93-PRX tune with the stock transmission setup.

Yes ... but I don't really consider it an issue.. but I assume it's emmisons related

As long as it isn't doing any damage, then I also am not overly worried about it since it probably only happens two or three times after a full refill. Just want to confirm that I am not hurting anything, and I would love to know what is causing it.

I would not worry. Evap system probably introducing fuel to the system creating a rich condition. Rich is never harmful. Only concern I would have is if the computer attempts to compensate because of an o2sensor reading ant try to lean it out. If you hear it backfire it would probably be prudent to not flog it right away

I know it’s a little soon, but has anyone gone through an emissions test with a tuned truck yet? I realize it’s unlikely to fail on just a tune, but until I can flee to a more free region of the country, I’d like to hear if anyone has done the tune and passed an emissions test.

No emissions test here but I'm pretty sure a/f ratio is similar to stock if not leaned out just a tad. Don't see it being an issue
