I bought the factory shop manual for the wiring, once I get time, Ill post which connectors and pins run the Parking light setup your looking for for DRL only-then they can be jumped to the AUX which unpower when truck is off.

Someone needs to do this and pass along the info. I want to do this to my truck.

There is some confusion about what FORScan does with the parking lights with DRL. I took before and after pictures to help. My original hope was to be able to show the unique marker lights in the day, without having to come out of AUTO. I know I can just turn the switch to turn on the parking lights every time I start the truck, but that defeats the purpose of AUTO.

Activating daytime running lights only turns on the low-beam headlights, so that doesn't help by itself. However, by making the mod in FORScan, it turns on the parking lights with the low-beams when DRLs are activated.

For those using FORScan, this change is:
BCM 726-26-02
x1xx xxxx xxxx

Looks like the best that can be done so far without rewiring.

Livnitup just posted the solution in the FORScan thread:

BCM
726-26-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx
726-50-01 017F

I verified this works...problem finally solved!

So just to be 100% clear this means you keep the light switch on Auto and during the day you get just the amber parking lights and no headlights of any kind correct? Does it matter what setting you have the DRL lights set to?

Took you guys a while to replicate the simple genJuan "always on whenever you need it" functionality.

You clever SOBs have hacked into the very mind fabric of the G2 making it look somehow "gangster".

On behalf of the GenWar council I commend you for the wise decision to run DRLs in the name of safety and to pay homage to the original godfather of Baja.

Everybody wants somethin these days.

It should have taken sub 9 seconds to read that nonsense. But yeah.

Next cheap domestic is on me.

I hope this is adequate compensation for 14 sec of your epic life.

Yes...just the same lights as if you only had your parking lights on, but with your switch on auto (no low or high beams). DRL is set to on in the dash settings.
