Long-time lurker in Bay Area - 2010 5.4 Tuxedo Black!

Hey guys,

I'm a long time lurker on the forum, owner of a 2010 5.4 Tuxedo Black Raptor! I recently moved out to the Bay Area from Northern Virginia about 1.5 years ago, and I'm excited to get to know some of you locals on future Raptor runs.

I grew up off-roading, but in Virginia and West Virginia, it was more about hill climbs and mudding. I moved to Cali to chase my dreams, and one of those dreams is to drive high speed desert terrain, and eventually Baja. I've lived in San Jose and Tiburon, now residing in Tracy, CA.

I'm an all around gear head, so the Raptor and off-roading is just one "vertical" of my car/bike hobbies.

I'm registered for the Black Rock event with Road Adventures, are you guys planning on going? What are your favorite off-roading spots in the area?

@m3dragon and @Stagecoach are about a 5 minute drive from me. If you're up in the Roseville area let me know we can hit Prairie City. They have a Lucas Oil short course we can run. See you at least on some runs this year
