Hello All,

Ordered my Black Supercrew on 12/5/10. I was driving my old and trusted Dark Grey Matalic 2004 FX4 Supercrew till this past wednesday. Traded it in early to try and keep as much resale avalible as possible with 91,000 on the clock. I am an old cheap Bas#*%d. HAhaaaaaa. Dealer ordered it for me at 4% under sticker. Hope thats an acceptable deal. I did the deal before I started looking on forums.

I pray and hope that my Raptor will ba as STONE RELIABLE as my 04 was. After the original rear end issues were fixed at around 30,000 its been a 100% reliable ride. On and off road. On trips pulling the trailler with 2 bikes and two in the bed. Up and down the creeks on my east texas property. Most comfortable ride sept for our 2009 Vett which once I get my fat 330lbs ass in is real comfy. Just the exiting in tha garage with the wall on the left sucks. HAHaaaaaa.

Hope to freakwent this site and if there are any GATHERINGS of Raptor owners around I would hope to try and make a few to meet fellow Fordites. Pick the brains for lighting mods and the like.

Thanks for the welcome all. I just keep reading and learning and looking at pics. Now I see where a forum member sells Raptors and probably could have saved me a few bucks. Oh well.

I am happy with the way I was treated at the dealer I am buying from. It literally took me less than 10 minutes to build, print off and and order my BLACK SCREW as its called here and to get my trade appraised which happened AFTER the price for the Raptor was determined.

So just the NO HAGGLE sales job from the fleet sales guy was a pleasure. The dealer also offerd me more than I think my 2004 FX4 was worth, $11,500 with its few bumps and bruises but almost new interior. So I tried to shop it a bit to friends who said they may be interested and did not find anyone who seriously wanted to fork over the cash for it. So I Early Traded it which will save me another $750 in sales tax.

So all in all I am happy so far. I don't have it yet but if everything else goes as easy it will be delivered early and the world will be right again. HAHahaaaaaaa.

Man I hope it gets here in 8 weeks like I was told. I know I read that ford closes for tooling and vacations for 2 weeks at Christmas. So that will add to the date I am sure.

We have a C6 Vett and a Honda CRV ( soccer mom ride) and I have 3 motorcycles I own which are all running right now. I plan on riding as much as possible to keep the Vett clean and dry. When its wet out IU guess I will tough it out on a bike or just get the Vett trashed. Boooooo hisssssss.

So I will be freezing my fat ass off on the way to work in the morn. Its spose to be 18 degrees at 5:00am when I hit the road. YIKES! Its only 30 minutes away.
