I have a camper shell that I will have on in the winter and need to wire the third light on top.

What is the normal way to do this? I have a couple of 2 way rubber connectors to use. Is the truck set up for this? As in a place to run the wire or connect to the tail lights?

There is a hole, by the tailgate, that you can drop wires down to behind the bumper & tie in to either constant power or switched.

This is the outside top tail light, not interior lights.

I will check out the hole down and find the tail/stop light wires to tap into. That should work.

Any idea what the color code I'm looking for would be??
Thanks,

I'm going to connect the stop/tail light on top of the samper shell (using a 2 wire plug set up for easy disconnect when the shell is off the truck).

Can I just pull a tail light out and make connections there?

The truck is a 2012 Raptor.

Thanks,
sage

you can but you will need a 3 pin harness for your quick disconnect

What about the possibility of just dropping a pig tail down and using a 4 pin trailer connector? I wouldn't need the top light when a trailer is connected (probably don't need it at all, but....)
