I ended up figuring it out through trial and error and a lot of cussing and gritting of teeth. And when I got everything routed and ready to finish up.......one strip was green. Damn you Chinese ebay vendors!

I'm looking to do this mod hopefully this weekend. can you please specify which wires you spliced into on the grill lights?
