So I figured I would do a full build thread this time around on a few different forums. I had little success trying to do them in the past on other forums etc. I own a 2004 Ford F150 standard cab. I know it is not an F150 Raptor but it is an F150 and a lot of aftermarket parts to make a standard F150 off road capable are either interchangeable or very similar to those available for the Raptors so I figured as long as I am welcome why not join in on here and check out the other trucks. Long story short. I did a lot of work to the truck and made it into a nice street prerunner style truck. The truck was fun, but it was ready to move it to the next level. This year I decided I was going to swap suspension to a better set up. I took my truck to the shop (Dirt Freeks Motorsports) where I was going to get this done. A week later I decided to do new fiberglass, a few days later decided to do new rear suspension and so on and so forth. Well the truck is a cab and frame right now while I was stock piling parts and selling off my old ones.

Here are some photos of the truck through its first build/life progress before we tore her down.

These are the plans:
Front Suspension: Custom "Prerunner Kit" Long Travel using King Offroad shocks 10" 2.5 coilovers/ 2.0 2" bump stops
Rear Suspension: Custom "Leaf Under Kit" Using Deaver leaf under springs and King 18" 3.0 3 Tube Bypass Shocks.
Body: Fiberwerx 09+ Conversion one piece fiberglass hood/fenders. 09+ conversion bedsides. 09+ Mirrors, 09+ grill, 09+ projector style headlights, 09+ led tail lights.(entire truck is going to be repainted when complete)
Wheel/Tire: 17" Method Race Wheels Double Standard Matte Black/37" General Tire Red Letter Grabbers
Engine/Performance: v8 4.6 with Bullydog GT tuner, Nitro Gear and Axle 4:88 gears with Diff cover, Volant Cool Air Intake.
Fabrication New front tube bumper with skid plate. Full tube bedcage. All fiberglass supports. Spare tire mount. New back bumper etc.
All of this work is getting done at a full on off road/metal fabrication shop. There will be a lot of miscellaneous things added along the way and I will be sure to include them all in here. If anyone ever has any questions about my build feel free to comment in here or email me.

Thanks!! Hope to see some of you in Nevada in the dirt soon!

Thanks guys! I am looking forward to seeing the new end result once it is complete. The first time around I would say I probably had about $10-$12,000 into it. It was a pretty mild build. This time around I am about 30k into it.

The first picture is the first peek I got of the new suspension that was being designed for my truck that got me wanting to upgrade! TSo here are a few pictures from the first few stages of operation "tear down/part out"

Took off and sold all of my old fiberglass, and factory hood and valance.
Took off and sold my old suspension and shocks, as well as my old leaf springs and shocks in the rear.

It was kind of crazy taking all this stuff off and seeing the truck start to look naked.
