Identify This Part - Underside of Bed Box - Vibration Damper

Any idea what this is or does?

I just dropped the backend of my truck and it was he'll removing the upper left hand spindle bolt with this metal plate on like a auto leveling rubber bearing. It's held on with 2 bolts and I can't see any wires or sensors attached to it.. I have only had my raptor for 2 months and have no clue what it is or does.. Anyone care to fill me in that knows.

It's the vibration/harmonics thing others have already referenced. It's useless and I cut mine off.

It is part of the NVH (Noise/Vibration/Harshness) package for the chassis.
