Not sure if there is already a thread on this, couldnt find anything.

But my question: is there a gooseneck option for raptors? (2011 4 door super crew)

I want to tow my Jeep (which is a heavy bitch) to and from Moab instead of driving her.
Is the raptor capable of towing a fully loaded 4 door jeep, and a moderately loaded 2 door?

thanks ahead of time.

I wouldn't recommend it the weight of just a 20ft gooseneck is about 4000lb's plus your jeep and the car, your looking at at least 13,000 plus I know the towing capacity of a trucks changes depending on hitch placement and type of hitch, I just don't know what the raptors would be with a gooseneck. You have to take a look at stoping power not pulling power the raptor has the @$$ to pull it but how will do stoping it at 75 if you have to quick. If your really set on it i would look at getting a set of LT airbags like SDHQ sells and make sure you get a trailer with brakes, and look at upgrading the ones on the truck.

You should be able to put that on a standard flat bed car hauler and tow it no problem. Tandem axle, keep the weight off the truck.

Buddy is lending me his car trailer. Has brakes. Gonna see how it does. Driving 2500 miles this coming week with jeep on back. Just need to get driveshaft replaced first.

it has the power but like stated above stopping might be a different problem. WSI has a spring replacement for 1k that would help for weight.

The B&W Gooseneck hitch will fit Raptors. We have put 1 on a raptor already and have another one going on next week. New rear springs are a must if you don't want it to squat in the rear.

I have an adjustable 11in drop hitch I'll see if I can find a pic for you.
