Agreed - if someone wants it bad enough they can pry it outta there. Mine will rarely be locked - mainly just to stow some tools, cables, straps, etc.

I will say this, I had to loosen several seat bolts near each corner to get the seat up enough to slip the bracket under. NBD, but a little tight getting in there.
