I saw these last night. They have a video with the touring version too.

I asked Borla to clarify for me the difference between the ford performance sport and their regular Borla branded sport.

Notice the FOMOCO has an inline resonator and the BORLA branded one doesn't.

I am interested to know if the Ford branded one gives 12 horsepower like the Borla branded one. I'm also interested to know what the resonator on the ford one does vs no resonator on the Borla branded one.

Is it for drone? I'm hearing there is no drone on the Borla sport... so is it to make it quieter? Does it sacrifice performance?


I was just about to place my order but now I want this clarified before I do to get what will suit me best!

That doesn't look like your truck in the video. Come to think of it, those tips sure doesn't look like the "Ford Performance" carbon fiber exhaust tips that you posted that were on your truck. How ya coming on those carbon fiber headers buddy?

I thinks the tips look like crap personally. Looks like someone dremeled some carbon tubing and mounted them in their back yard for $2k.......no thanks.

While I wouldn't go that far, there's no doubt the Borla tips look much better.

I just can't believe they call it a carbon fiber tip when it's just a sleeve over the SS tip riveted on. Also for $2k you would think the CF tip would be concentric the SS tip which from the pics and video is not.
