They make carbon fiber sheets, tubes, and structural components. I don't see that they make automotive exhaust tips.

Did you buy carbon fiber sheet and epoxy it to your factory exhaust tips? This looks like what you might have used: http://dragonplate.com/ecart/categories.asp?cID=299 The least expensive product that meets the description you quoted is a 12" x 12" sheet, 0.075 inch thick, $174.00. Is this what you used? What kind of glue did you use?
