Finally pulled the plug on some Duratrac's just in time for winter.

Already loving them, I'd say the ride is just as soft as the stock BFG's, maybe a tad softer. A little more road noise, nothing I can't deal with though. I'll check back once I've put some more miles on them!

Were you able to drive the stockers in the snow?


Yes I drove them after our first snowfall (about 3 inches), they weren't bad but I had trouble gaining good traction consistently. Nothing compared to the Duratrac's, they're already worth the money

That size is still E rated right? I am wondering if the large side wall...if I went with these for my winter tires...on stock 17" wheels...would be enough to compensate for the E rating vs. D rated BFGs that soak up all the road imperfections...which is about the only think I love about the stock BFGs
