I actually find these tires do feel softer than regulare KO's and my guess is due to new rubber compound and the increased spread of the footprint because of thicker sidewall. It was noticeable right off.

Very interested in getting a set of these for such a low price. I tried to find on Discount tires but have been unable to find for less than $309 per for the 35/12.50-17 (which I believe is the stock sizing (LT315/70R17/D 121S)

put em on...

I put these on last week after getting a flat. I talked discount guy down to $294/tire. They happened to have them in stock which was good as I had 4 bald stock KOs with a flat.

They look much more aggressive than the stock KO's. I was thinking about going 37's but am glad I didn't - these look great and fit the wheel wells fine (I think rolling on worn tires for so long skewed my view).

The ride is quiet like the KOs but the rubber definitely seems softer - could just be the new rubber. I have 47k on the odometer so hard to say if it rides any harder than the stock KOs but I did expect to lose more of the harsh ride sensation I had with worn tires.

I went thru Ford dealer especially since they had a new Hunter machine for balancing. Just got back $50 rebate today. So total was $296 per, mounted and balanced.
