Cloth insert wear

How is the cloth insert in your seating holding up?
My truck has about 3500 miles, and the cloth insert on the lower left back is showing a little wear on the drivers side already. How is yours holding up?

The '11 held up better than the leather. And that was with 84,00 miles.

My seats are perfect still. 68000 miles 2 1/2 years old

It is just a area about 3 or 4 inches tall on the drivers outboard back portion that is "pilling" for lack of a better term. Perhaps if I shave them off that is all it will ever do. Sounds like it is not a common issue and nothing to worry about.

Do you have metal things on your jeans that catch or something?

my belt rubbing them maybe?

using some kind of mcguires or any other brand seat oil/lotions help keep the leather from wearing and cracking... i do it at least once or twice a month... i wear ABU's every day and no wear on my 2010... it also helps if you dont slide into the seat but rather hover then plop down lol
