Ziebart vs Valugard

Looking into undercoating options and plenty of conflicting info out there. Looking at either Ziebart or Valugard through a Linex dealer. From what I understand they are both similar products but curious to know if anyone has first hand experience with either?

Both local places have pretty good online reviews but proper application is as much of a concern as the actual product.

I had mine Krown sprayed.

Guaranteed for life if you do it within 3 months of purchasing the truck (and it’s less than 6 months after build date).

Ziebart did mine, I have it inspected every year and after 5 Michigan winters so far so good.

Ok guys, picked up from NJ Line-X today in Bound Brook. Valugard undercoating and fogging in the doors. We will see how it stands up but looks pretty good imo and they were careful to mask off shocks and very little overspray elsewhere. Had them install Baja designs squadron pros too, owner was great to deal with.

*Edit I did find a spot where they sprayed over a bar code sticker on the axle. Will have to get them to rectify next week.

I’m planning to get mine coated with valugard as well. I want to be specific about what should not be coated. Other than the obvious (shocks, spare, exhaust, transmission, transfer case) what on the suspension and underbody shouldn’t be coated?

I wouldn’t waste your time or theirs on coating a barcode sticker. It serves no purpose.
