on my 2010, I tried to add another one of those aftermarket keys & now the truck will not start all. No crank, just cabin lights & gauges. The anti theft is blinking fast.
Tried to disconnect the battery for an hour, still the same.
Using Forscan when I put my original Ford key in I get these DTC codes:

PCM-1260:002F & IC-B1601

Why won't the anti theft clear?

It's in theft mode, ford wll have to clear code. Was your new key programed? You can program a key yourself if you have 2 programed keys, place first key in run position for 5 seconds ,then second key for 5 seconds then key you want to program for 5 seconds. Ford will need 2 keys !

I was trying to program the new key with the Forscan program. Right now I have only 1 programmed key. I guess I will go to Ford to get 1 programmed to have 2 before I have it towed to them so they can clear the code.
Still don't get that using the hem key wouldn't clear the code itself.
