I noticed today a 1/4" gap between the base of the windshield and the seal on the plastic shroud around the windshield wipers. This is on the driver's side. There's similar gap on the passenger side but not so pronounced.

Is this normal?

here, on frf
definitely not normal, unless your truck was 10 years old. but the "old beemer dude" is right, the windshield is sealed from the inside so there shouldnt be a leak. but you could always talk to the dealer too
