Will Catch Can still be necessary?

Not true at all. If a catch can was necessary, issues would show up well before 5 years or 60k miles. There are tens of thousands of these engines with high mileage running the factory PCV system with no issues.

Yeah, mine has 61k plus miles, no problems, still on the original spark plugs, STILL runs a 12.7 @ 108 1/4 mile. Yeah, if I though a catch can was NEEDED, I would have one, or even two like on my 2.3EB Turbo Direct Injection (only) Focus RS. They are needed on SOME engines, but NOT the 3.5EBTT in the Raptor. I have 6+decades experience with this ****, as does @FordTechOne (time unknown). You folks can do whatever you want, but you can't spout this known-as-bullsh*t without being called out. This repetitive bullsh*t is getting old...
