Why are aftermarket bumpers Black?

I don't get it. These bumpers are purpose-built for Gen2 raptors, the body cladding and fender flares are a charcoal / graphite, but all aftermarket bumpers are black???.




I'm trying to get over it but sheesh! the fender flare is a different color from the rocker guard which is a different color from the bumper, which is different from the FORD tailgate applicate. Anybody else bothered by this? Will my ADD bumper fade over time?

I thought the same way you do so I put line-x on both ADD bumpers, flares and that extra piece behind the rear wheels that way they all match perfectly.

I agree with you. They should be grey. I presume it must have something to do with the cost of powder coating.
