when i initially contacted the dealership via their website, i asked if they would sell an ordered raptor for invoice price, and would the "new truck sales manager" please contact me with info. the guy that replied, when i went down to discuss the ordering details, wasnt the manager. didnt really matter since i got my price, but i guess they wanted everyone to get their cut.

I was an Internet Sales Manager and in my case, I would have been the best person to go to first. Internet Sales is very competitive and we had a directive to meet marketshare over profit. We new what the other stores were selling their vehicles for and would argue on the customers behalf to keep our vehicles priced competitively.
