Just buy a 19 sell it when 20s come out. Boom
The 19's had some decent amount of changes. Seats, shocks, adaptive cruise with stop/go, more drive modes, and i'm sure a few smaller items here and there. I doubt 2020 will be a major change.
Ford announced changes to the 2019 Raptor towards the end of May last year. The announcement regarding Raptor changes for 2020 should be coming out very soon.
If the V8 rumor is true expect to pay a huge premium to get one. Ford knows that Raptor buyers have deep pockets.
I thought you were going to say you were waiting for a V8 or some engine upgrades! ...but you are just waiting for a dirt color option?
2019=Velocity Blue w/Blue accent seats, BOOM!
wow, that sounds amazing!
yup my friend who dated a guy, who was roommates with a senior manager at Taco bell that dated a girl who was a secretary to a Vp at Ford told me.
heard it here first folks. Its coming!
It's basically this motor in a Raptor.
2021 2.3l 4 cylinder turbo hybrid raptor...
I have had a 17 and now an 18 that has been a great truck with 40k on it now. But if they come with another more powerful engine option or the terrain color again as others have said, I will be tempted to get one. Hopefully it’s a stand alone engine option if there is one and not something only available with the 802a package as that would push the price of the truck into the mid 80s.
Who knows what will happen, but I predict Ford won’t make any major changes (like a V-8 engine) until after the NEXT version of the F150 is released. Then the new Raptor will follow a few years after that.
That’s the typical model for all car manufacturers. Introduce the basic new model first, then start rolling out special editions after that.
