I think they're going to be great!

Sweet! You did the amber. Would like to see some out put shots. If you get a chance.

Ha Ha...I did not notice that Wilson, but the amber does go nicely with the AK plate!

Aiming the lights in Jimmy's mount isn't too bad. The fit is tight in the bumper opening, but you can still angle the lights up or down a bit by simply loosening the sides of the bail mounts with a wrench.

I've been extremely pleased with my amber and white Micro Pioneers. I often use the amber lights at night on my local highways to help spot any deer or other animals that might plan on trying to play chicken with a 75 mph truck that weighs around 6200lbs. Don't want to have to replace a bunch of front plastic and fiberglass.

What kind of covers do you need? Blackout covers like some states require or are you wanting to change light colors? Covers for legal requirements I don't know where you would find them. Changing colors is easy. Have done a few different colors on mine so far

Those pictures were in pretty bright daylight so I'll try to get some night photos soon - I better hurry cause we're gaining daylight like crazy now up here!!

I shimmed mine out just a tad and used an angled rubber spacer to help them angle upward a bit...I think I'll be able to adjust them well now, but haven't had the time to mess with it yet.

Thanks for the compliments...I really like the look of the ambers with the marker lights and the tags too! I mainly wanted them to help cut through fog in bad weather but good looks help too...

Here's a shot with them off...I was glad that Whelen made a true amber bulb and not just the lense - Makes them look better when off too...

Would be nice to have blackout covers since VA requires covers for the annual state inspection. Looks like it is black stickers for now

GREAT LAKES RAPTOR EXCURSIONS

Had a chance to get a few photos this evening...It was almost dark (not completely) so the first shot is with no lights on, just for a starting point...Sorry, these were taken with my crappy iPhone camera, but at least they give a pretty decent idea of the light output...

I'm happy with them, but they're still angled up about as much as the high beams...I'd like to get them a bit lower, so I can maybe run them on the road some, so I'm going to try the spot lens and see where that hits. If they're still high, I'll have to loosen the bracket and try to move it up some, to give more downward movement for the lights. The opening is a real tight fit for adjustment, but it does give a really clean looking installation!! I think the ambers are going to be great in fog and rain...
The fog lens really difuses the light a lot, so I'll try to get a photo soon with the spot lens on...
