Pictures of said Raptor or we will assume it is a 2018 Prius.

My Gen 2 had 17s when I bought it, I put on 20s. The 17s allow you you have more tire sidewall making a softer ride off-road. The 20s are heavier, but I think look better.

You will get lots of options when talking wheel size (giggity). I personally like the 20s, but that's just me.

How do you plan on using your Raptor? Will it be a Mall crawler/daily driver or do you plan on using it off-road? Those are the real questions you need to ask yourself. I've had 20's, and went back to 17's last year. I use my truck off-road, did a couple Moab trips, and hunt quite a bit, so after a while with the Venomrex 601's(20"), I got tired of constantly worrying about my wheels getting scraped or nicked. That's when I went to the 17" Black Rhino Abrams with Yokohama MT3's........no regrets at all.

I liked the look of 20's on the truck, and for DD & in-town, their great. Much lighter and handled turns great with 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers; but overall, I'm much happier with the 17" Abrams wheels. I get complements on them all the time, and don't worry much about scratching them off-road.

Again, these questions are a bit suggestive. I don't mind my 37" Mickey Thompsons. I drive 3 hours each way to work, but that might not be what is good for others. Look at the overall purpose of the truck is for you and mod accordingly. The looks department is gonna be entirely up to you.

I’ve ran ridge grapplers on different applications and sizes from 35s to 40s on my Jeep (Trail Grapplers) Never had an issue with them.

What’s your use case?

If you’re street oriented driver with little to no off road use, 20’s are fine.

Limited off road to moderate use, you can get away with 20’s and good off road tires to an extent.

If however you are looking to do any off roading in sand, or are more seriously campaigning off road, consider sticking with 17’s with their more generous sidewalls, more compliance capability etc.
