Wheel Well / Fender Flairs

Hello everyone I'm considering this Raptor and wanted to get your input. These Fender Flairs are way too big for the wheel/tire combo that's on it and I was thinking the previous owner swapped out his larger wheels/tires for the stock ones before selling. Then it occurred to me this might be part of a rust repair. Do these GEN1 wheel wells have a rusting issue? Do these flairs look too big to you also? Thanks.

Man, those are some ugly a** fender flairs! And those exhaust tips too. Really hard to say for what or why previous owner did what he did. Can you contact him and ask?

Yeah it could be anything from hiding rust to just him liking those better its hard to know.

If it was a cab corner or rocker I’d go with rust. I’d chalk this one up to bad taste. On an SE no less.

Probably had trucks with these previously and just liked the look. Hideous look IMO, even on regular F150s; these guys never get wheels with offset that matches these.
